Blair’s links to Rwandan President Kagame must remain secret – Foreign Office

Tony Blair’s relationship with the Rwandan regime and its president, Paul Kagame, must remain secret because Blair is a “former prime minister,” according to the Times, after the Foreign Office rejected its Freedom of Information request.

The UK government refused to release information about Blair’s involvement with Rwanda and his Africa Governance Initiative charity when probed by Times journalists.

After a five-month delay – much longer than the usual 20 day waiting period – officials refused to disclose any details of the relationship.

According to the fourth quarterly report from October to December 2014, the Burundi Revenue Authority has collected BIF 191.3 billion, which exceeds the forecasted 176.7 billion and the BIF 138.1 billion collected in 2013. Many reasons explain the success.

"We can confirm that the results of the fourth quarter 2014 are satisfactory with a rate of the realisation of 108. 3% which shows an increase of BIF 14.6 billion," says Domitien Ndihokubwayo, the Commissioner General of OBR.

The amount of VAT collected during the period from October to December 2014 (the fourth quarter) is estimated at BIF 63.2 billion and higher than the expected forecast of 2.3 billion.

There are many reasons for this success. Martine Nibasumba, director of planning and survey in OBR explained some of them.

First footage of world's most elusive cat captured in Uganda

The little-known and elusive African golden cat has been caught on camera for the first time in Uganda hunting during daylight in Kibale National Park.

Scientists set up cameras in Kibale National Park in Uganda in the hope of capturing the elusive African golden cat which has never been filmed in the country before.

The footage they got surpassed many expectations.

Not only did they capture the golden cat on camera, but they also showed it hunting red colobus monkeys.

“Watching a golden cat in full ambush of large monkeys in this video provides hunting details we could previously only piece together from brief sightings," researcher Laila Bahaa-el-din said in a statement.
